I love tattoos and have my entire life, but more than tattoos I love tattoos with MEANING. An tattooist once said to me that unless you could give him at least two minutes worth of history, thought, and personal meaning behind a design or request, you shouldn’t get it on your body. That being said, yesterday’s update made me oddly emotional.
Dirk has a drawing of his older brother’s tattooed on his deltoid. Something that could be considered a family symbol, a bizarre Strider crest of sorts. Perhaps being more emphasized by his age, this caught me as truly beautiful in that strange, awesome MSPA way.
